You need a very detailed map when you visit Istanbul. You will find it very useful when you are walking around the city. It will make it easier for you to find your way around in Istanbul.
The Istanbul map below is focused on the central heart of Istanbul. But, if you know where to go in Istanbul, you can easily find Istanbul's famous Grand Bazaar.
If you go up north you will come to Suleymaniye Mosque which is in the Eminonu district. Across the Galata Bridge is an area called Beyoglu which is famous
for their restaurants, bars and nightlife.
Since Google Maps have the option of viewing the map via satellite view, you can zoom-in and look at the streets around these famous places for your sightseeing needs.
Also, you can use the hybrid option and get the labels for each street in Istanbul and then print them out for navigation purposes.
