Chilis Grill & Bar Detailed Info
Our Story
For over 33 years now (or roughly 1/3 of a century!), Chili’s® has been welcoming guests with our sizzling personality and serving up a good time, every time with incredible appetizers and entrées, thirst-quenching drinks and decadent desserts. Along the way, we’ve fed a bunch of folks, hosted a ton of parties and had a lot of laughs.
Today, Chili’s has more than 1,500 restaurants in 28 countries around the world. A lot has changed since our early days in Dallas, Texas as a hamburger joint serving burgers in a basket and bowls of spicy “Texas Red Chili”. But we’re still hungry to bring you the big, bold flavors of our original down-home, Southwestern-inspired brand.
So you can still enjoy the mouthwatering burgers, ice-cold beer and margaritas that made us famous. Or you can sink your teeth into even more great Southwest favorites like our legendary Baby Back Ribs, Sizzling Fajitas and Fire-Grilled Steaks. Of course, along with outstanding food, we’re still cooking up a whole lot of fun too. That’s why after all this time you’ll find that Chili’s is still “Like No Place Else®.”
Chili’s Trivia
1. Why were Chili’s entrées originally served in baskets?
2. What exactly are “ChiliHeads”?
3. Why is there always one upside-down picture in every Chili’s?
1. They allowed servers to stack them up so they could carry up to a dozen baskets at a time! (It’s not nice to keep hungry people waiting.)
2. We owe all of our success to them. They’re the hard-working, hard-playing folks we’re proud to call our team-members. And if you can’t get enough of our incredible fun and food, beware – you just might be a ChiliHead too!
3. Rumor has it that someone once hung a photo wrong-side-up accidentally and the idea caught on. Feel free to stand on your head and find the inverted picture inside this Chili’s.
Chili's Etiler
The first Chili's in Turkey opened in Etiler, on a very popular section of the Nisbetiye Street. Going towards Bosphorus University from Akmerkez, you can spot Chili's on the left from it's signature "Red Chili Pepper" signs on the building. The location has a nice patio on the street level and a big balcony on the second level with a commanding view of the crowded Nisbetiye street. Come and dine at this truly original American restaurant!
