What is now called Antalya is a city on the Mediterranean coast of Turkey. It is formerly known as Adalia or Attalia.

Antalya has been a popular destination for travellers in Turkey. Over the past decade, the city's infrastructure and social amenities have improved. There are many new hotels built, especially on the aread called Lara made Antalya known as Turkish riviera.

Antalya is home to many mosques, churches, madrasahs, masjids, hans and hamams. Also, the city is one of the world's main centres of archaeological research.

Antalya has lot of beaches including Konyaaltı, Lara and Karpuzkaldıran where there is plenty of hotels available Also, if you would like to experience the historic Sites in the city center, you can stay in Kaleici. Even though it is recently restored, Kaleici retains almost all of its historic character. The city center includes bar, clubs, hotels and restaurants
